Redesign

A major improvement over last season’s Nautilus, Lincoln has given its crossover new looks both inside and outside at the beginning of a brand-new third generation. The Nautilus is based on a revised model that is Ford’s C2 platform, which runs underneath three models: the Escape, Bronco Sport, and Maverick. The exterior and interior have been completely modernized and the Nautilus has a brand-new engine that produces 310 horsepower. The V-6 is no longer available with all-wheel-drive now an option.

The mid-range Reserve trim enhances the appeal and savoriness of the Nautilus. At a cost of just a few dollars, buyers can avail of The Jet appearance package that includes stunning dark 22-inch wheels that have chrome cladding, painted-to-match as well as fenders and wheel arches, as being the black-painted roof.

In 2024 Lincoln is updating the Nautilus exterior with a fresh headlight design and revised taillights with a brand new animation feature. Pixel headlights are offered for the first time and the front is adorned with an updated grille that has handcrafted accents. The automaker has integrated the door handles with the vehicle’s beltline, making it a neat appearance. The Nautilus model’s name badge remains on the mirror on either side.

The wheel sizes vary between 19 and 22 inches. The highest two trim levels are offered with a black-painted roof. The standard Lincoln Embrace feature comes with auto-folding side mirrors that fold down, an automatic approach detector, and welcome/farewell lighting that turns on in the event that the motorist is in close proximity using the key. Lincoln also has a Jet Appearance package with dark exterior trim and distinctive wheel designs.

Interior

The amount of upgrades made to the interior of the brand-new five-passenger Nautilus is stunning. It is a stunning transformation of the Lincoln crossover has gone from being boring into something spectacular with a totally new interior that features greater leather, bigger screens, and ambient lighting. The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus can be equipped with Lincoln Rejuvenate Spa-in-a-Car, a feature that alters the lighting inside as well as the seat’s position along with screen graphics and the settings for massaging seats so that the occupants can feel more relaxed. Three cartridges of scent inside the armrests in the middle release scents ranging from cashmere to patchouli to fresh linen.

The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus comes with the 27-speaker Revel Ultima 3D audio system and power-adjustable seats with 24 positions. There’s less storage space in the rear of the 2nd row than the previous year however there’s more room available to everyone. Options for equipment include copper-colored interior stitching and a Redwood theme (exclusively available in the Nautilus black label trim) which gives off the forest-like vibes of redwood. A leather-wrapped, heated steering wheel, 10-way adjustable heated-and-ventilated seats, and remote keyless entry are all standard.

Lincoln states its 48.0-inch display area on the upper part of the Nautilus dashboard is among the top however, when the tape measure is turned vertically, there’s no theater with an IMAX screen. Apart from the huge screen, it also has an ultra-high-resolution 11.1-inch touchscreen for infotainment that is placed in the middle of the dashboard. The Nautilus is equipped with Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well and the Alexa-integrated device can also respond to voice commands.

Specs and Engine

In the underside of every Nautilus is an engine that is the engine that is turbocharged 2.0-liter inside-four motor. In the case of non-hybrids, it’s 250 horsepower and 275 pounds-feet of torque that is bolted onto an eight-speed auto transmission. Its turbo-charged 2.0-liter inline-four is assisted by an electric motor that is 100 kW to produce a total of 310 hp. The hybrid is equipped with an automatic transmission that is continuously variable. Both engines connect to an all-wheel drive. The 330 horsepower twin-turbo V-6 which was offered on Nautilus is no longer available. Think of it as a signification of the times, because the two new models’ engines are likely to provide greater fuel efficiency over the V-6. In terms of performance, things, it’s still to be determined if the new Nautilus will be able to match the 5.9-second jump to 60 mph that the prior generation had with its twin-turbo V-6. We’ll be able to answer that question when we’ve strapped our testing gear on the latest Nautilus later in the year.

The EPA and Lincoln have not yet announced their estimates. EPA or Lincoln has yet to announce fuel efficiency estimations for the new Nautilus however, given the similarity in performance between the old and new models, we expect the base engine model to be at around 22 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway. For the hybrid model, we expect the fuel efficiency to be similar to that of the Ford Escape Hybrid. Since the Escape utilizes a bigger turbocharged four-cylinder, is smaller in horsepower, and is just a few hundred pounds heavier, we’re expecting the Nautilus hybrid’s EPA value to sit around 37 mpg in city driving and 33 miles per gallon on highways. We’ll update this page with official figures as they are available.
