What is The Ford Ranger Wildtrak
The Ford Ranger Wildtrak was launched as the Ranger’s special edition in specific markets worldwide. The Ranger itself, also commonly referred to as the T6, is a series of mid-size trucks built and distributed by Ford Motor since 2011. Ford of Australia did the engineering and design of this model.
Carrying a 4-wheel drive crew-cab platform, the Ranger Wildtrak comes with 3.2L Duratorq diesel-powered motor, with an option of auto or manual transmission. To provide a unique visual distinction from the other trims, it receives an exclusively designed dark grey-colored grille, 18″ wheels, and many interior and exterior features. The Wildtrak is available in color options, but it was primarily marketed in Pride Orange color, which is exclusive to this trim.
Coming with a single VGT (variable-geometry turbochargers), the Wildtrak can at least produce 170 Hp and 310 ft-lb of torque. A more capable version of this trim receives fixed-geometry low-pressure and high-pressure VGT, which results in 213 HP productions and 369 ft-lb of torque.
