2024 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek Price: How Much is the 2024 Pathfinder Rock Creek Edition? – 2024’s Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek Edition is the latest in a growing number of crossovers that are a bit off-road oriented (or even, in some cases minivans). We’ve previously tested versions of the Ford Explorer Timberline (and enjoyed the ride) as well as the Wilderness variations from the Subaru Outback and Forester (liked these as well) and the Honda Passport TrailSport (meh) and even the Toyota Sienna Woodland (that one left us wondering at times). Then, prior to the launch of this model, it’s been a pleasure to play with this model. Pathfinder Rock Creek.
Nissan will not be late to play, but. It’s not the only occasion that it’s given its Rock Creek treatment to the Pathfinder, however, since it’s the first time with an all-new generation the model 2023 is able to shine. This time, the Rock Creek method seems slightly more efficient in comparison to the easy-to-appearance package previously. It’s 2024. Pathfinder Rock Creek actually gets an off-road-tuned suspension. Its small, 0.6-inch rise is designed to accommodate polished black beadlock wheels that are wrapped with 265/60 R18 Toyo Open Country all-terrain tires. The result of 7.7 inches clearance but a whole inch less than that of a standard Subaru Ascent (and less than several other crossovers) but at the very least these tires provide more rough terrain and provide a more appearance of the base of the vehicle.
Review
This version of the Rock Creek gets a tubular roof rack, which improves the appearance while giving you storage space for as much as 220 lbs of equipment or luggage for the time you want to go to the woods for a few days. On the front, there’s a fascia that is exclusive to this particular model, sporting a distinct grille with mesh panels in gloss black, which matches the wheels. LED foglights come standard and a typical tow hitch harness and receiver allow for as much as 6,000 pounds (a higher-than-average number for a 3-row crossover). Naturally, there’s Rock Creek branding on the outside, along with black gloss and the mountain’s logo in orange for other motorists to understand that this isn’t just a typical Pathfinder. The Black Rock Creek pieces and orange accents looked stunning in our test vehicle’s two-tone black and grey paint.
It’s surprising to learn that there’s an enhancement to the powertrain of it. Rock Creek. New fuel mappings mean the 3.5-liter V6 will produce a total power of 295 horses and 270 pound-feet torque. That’s up from the normal 284 horsepower and 259 pounds-ft. Nissan says you have to make use of premium fuel in order in order to get those figures, however, the car will operate well on normal fuel. The four-wheel drive option is standard with the same driving modes as every other all-wheel drive Pathfinder standard model: Standard Eco, Sport, Sand, Snow, And Tow.
Interior
Inside the cabin, it’s inside that the Rock Creek gets leatherette-trimmed seats with inserts made of cloth, along with the orange Rock Creek logos embroidered into the seats’ backs. The vehicle’s 360-degree parking cameras serve as an off-road display by automatically projecting the camera’s feeds onto an 8-inch display (which is the basic screen — SL models and higher get a 9-inch model equipped with navigation) every time you change to Sand or Mud mode.
The total cost of $44,115 which includes the $1,295 fee for the destination. This puts Rock Creek smack in the middle of the Pathfinder range and is situated between the all-wheel-drive SV and SL variants. We don’t really miss SL features such as the navigation system, wireless charger, and Wireless Apple CarPlay (wired CarPlay and Android Auto are standard across the range) as well as a power liftgate or traffic signal recognition we’d like to choose to add features such as a heated steering wheel, or an outlet that is 120 volts. This latter option is something we think would prove useful in the type of outdoor activities this version was designed to support. Certain adventurers won’t overlook the chance to have the panoramic sunroof, too.
The suspension’s tuned for off-road use isn’t a problem with regard to safety or comfort, and absorbs road bumps effectively. It also doesn’t have any additional right-hand squat or dive that you could encounter on the Toyota 4Runner. As the road starts to turn it is the case that the dynamics of the Rock Creek do not break down but rather are remarkably strong. The system of chassis which so efficiently manages imperfections on the road does a great job in controlling the body’s rolling. This isn’t the loud, obtrusive roar one would get from a Subaru Forester Wilderness, which could give you the impression that you’re driving with a can of. The sound is more of a soothing sound that gives you a feeling of security and lets you know that the slender tread and high sidewalls will assist you in navigating anything that comes your way when you leave the road, and then turn onto the back roads of rural areas.
If you’re wondering about that strength, well, we’ll trust Nissan’s words. An increase of 11 horsepower and 11 pounds-feet of torque (and only when filled with top quality) does not really make a difference as a driving experience However, it’s adequate enough to get the Rock Creek’s 4,605 lbs of curb weight with no issue. In terms of fuel efficiency, it appears that Rock Creek suffers slightly. at twenty miles per gallon in the city 23 mpg highway 21, it’s an inch below the SV’s 21/27/23 mpg and the SL’4WD’s 20/25/22 MPG.
When you look closely at the images here You may notice certain odd things, particularly the unevenness of the material around the embroidery on this test. Remember, it’s a prototype and these figurative and literal wrinkles will be ironed out on the production line.
Engine
Its 3.5-liter V6 engine also carried the same power, with 284 hp and 259 lb-ft of torque for every vehicle starting from the basic S through the premium Platinum trim. The tough Rock Creek stays in the lineup until 2024. it features the same options and features, as well as an upgraded powertrain that was introduced the previous year. It produces 295 horsepower and 270 pounds of torque.
The Pathfinder S, SV, and SL trims come with an average towing capacity of 3,500 pounds when using the V6 base model, while those with the Rock Creek and Platinum models have that figure increase to 6,000 pounds as standard. 2024 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek Price: It’s believed that the Pathfinder Rock Creek Edition is expected to be on the market in late summer. However, even as of early July Nissan hasn’t released prices or figures on fuel efficiency. I’m betting that the forthcoming Rock Creek will come in between $40,000 and $45,000 which would be less expensive than the price of $49,000 for Explorer Timberline and $46,000 for Pilot Trailsport However until Nissan makes public the information we won’t know for certain.
