General Introduction to the All-New Ariya

The 2023 Nissan Ariya is the first full-electric vehicle from Nissan in the crossover SUV segment. It is claimed to provide noiseless, smooth, and powerful drives to support road trips and daily commutes. Ariya is the keystone element of the transformation plan by the manufacturer, as it is the first model to represent the new fresh e-power identity of the brand, where it brings electrification of automobiles with advanced technology and an optimized platform. According to the official statement made by the company, the all-new Ariya is equipped with a user-friendly environment as it provides full-package driver assistance, connectivity, and smooth connectivity.

Design Language That Stems From Japanese Philosophy

Citing from the official description from Nissan itself, the styling of all-new Ariya represents the company’s design philosophy called “Timeless Japanese Futurism” that portrayed a unique Japan’s approach of simple but powerful. The exterior of the Ariya is inspired by “Iki,” a term from Japanese that conveys the advanced and chic qualities, bringing fresh, elegant, and seamless front section, along with the redesigned Nissan’s logo located at the aerodynamic shield’s center.

From the side view, a stretch of one continuous horizontal line links the front and rear parts in the linear style, providing an eye-pleasing appearance from any angle it is viewed from. Meanwhile, it also doesn’t compromise the beauty of the rear part, bringing a sharply raked C-shaped pillar that mixes stunningly into the posterior region. The rear lamp combination forms a single-piece blade-like light specifically designed to provide a blackout effect on idle position and bright, consistent illumination on active status.

The interior section of the 2023 Nissan Ariya is inspired by “Ma,” a Japanese term that depicts time and space’s spatial and temporal natures. Carrying an EV platform, it is not surprising that the model offers a roomy cabin for rear-seat passengers to cross their legs sufficiently and efficiently. The ornaments and accents brought into the rear passenger space also provide comfort and luxury, while the front seats are designed with a B-shaped pillar and sleek form that offers panoramic views of the outside.

The battery is located at the chassis’ base; it incorporates an open floor and sleek zero-gravity seats that provide more legroom. Soundproof materials, combined with the electrified powertrain, resulting in a quiet cabin that lets the users relax inside.
