Although Honda Still Hasn’t Mentioned Anything About Their New 2023 Honda CR-V, Renderings Have Been Made Based On The Camouflaged Prototype

What can you expect from the 2023 Honda CR-V? There have been several spy shots on the internet of the new model. After all, everyone expects the ride to get more refreshed updates after the news about its release has been out there. So, what can you expect and wait for the release, anyway?

Tougher and Wider CR-V

From the recent spy shots pictures, it is obvious that the new 2023 Honda CR-V would be bigger and tougher. It does come with a more chiseled look replacing the current model’s smooth lines. Because of the spy shots, some rendering images have been available; trying to strip all of those camos and present the crossover’s design when it comes in showrooms. At least, artists try to imagine how the ride would look like when it is stripped of the camo.

2023 Honda CR-V Appearance and Look

Honda wants to differentiate the CR-V from other manufacturers’ compact SUVs to make a statement. On the front side, basically, the SUV has a flatter and longer bonnet, and also a bigger radiator grille with sleek new pattern headlights. They are going to have ORVM on the doors instead of the A-pillar, which is believed to reduce road nose while improving aerodynamics at the same time.

2023 Honda CR-V Appearance and Look

The most obvious change would be the overhauled front side. With a blunter nose, the crossover looks tougher and somewhat more menacing. If you see it from the front side view, you will see this trapezoidal and big grille getting wider when closing at the top. There would also narrower headlights with corner angled orientation. And there would be a skinny trim piece running between those lamps, right underneath the car’s hood.

2023 Honda CR-V has simple styling flanks that look similar to the latest Pilot and Passport. Of course, there would be a distinct and unique crease running along the shoulder line. Between D and C pillars, there would be a window having an upward kink right on the bottom edge. This is quite a common (and standard) design for crossover from Honda.

The rendering shows a back view of the CR-V. Expect a chiseled shape, just like the one on the front side. The tail would look sharper, thanks to the steeper angle of the rear window. The taillights themselves have a pointer appearance and look too. In the end, the footprint would look bigger, which means that you have more interior space.

2023 Honda CR-V Engine and Performance

For engines, it is highly likely that there would be hybrid as well as plug-in hybrid models. It is also possible that Honda would keep the turbo petrol of 1.5 liters together. But since we don’t know for sure as Honda hasn’t mentioned anything about the engine arrangement, so we just have to wait for further release.
