2024 Toyota Tundra Colors: Exterior Colors & Interior Colors – The Toyota Tundra is a full-size pickup truck that can do both hard work and carry your family around in comfort. The Tundra was completely redesigned for the 2022 model year, so we don’t think there will be any big changes for the 2024 model year. With the changes, like the new turbocharged V6, the Tundra became one of the best choices for a well-rounded truck.
The Tundra’s cabin is simple, but it looks and feels high-end. Everything is easy to do, from reading the gauges to set the temperature inside. The 14-inch tablet, which is an option, is clear and easy to use. Whether you plan to use the Tundra for work or for everyday life, it will have comfy seats and low noise levels inside. The base supercharged V6 makes 389 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque, which is a lot. There is also an option for a more powerful engine that combines the V6 with a battery-electric hybrid system to make 437 hp and 583 lb-ft of torque.
Review
Even though it’s the oldest pickup truck in its class, the Toyota Tacoma will still be on the road in 2024 and probably for a long time after that. Last year, the Taco was still the best-selling mid-size truck in America. It sold over 237,000 units, which was almost 150,000 more than the next best-selling truck, the Chevrolet Colorado.
Toyota says it will keep things interesting in 2024 by making a new version of its best-selling car. The new Tacoma will look better and have more technology. It is said that the V6 engine could be replaced by a turbocharged and hybrid four-cylinder engine. But we’ll know for sure when it comes out at the end of the year. Here’s everything we know so far about the 2024 Toyota Tacoma.
Most likely, the new Tacoma won’t look that different from the current one. Images from a patent that was filed in Brazil show a small update that keeps the truck’s famously tough look but adds hints of Tundra DNA all over.
From the bigger Tundra, the crisper headlights and taillights are the most obvious carryovers. The front end also has a slightly larger grille design and what looks like more coverage over the bumpers. We asked our drawing artist to help us bring the 2024 Tacoma to life, and the pictures you see above are the results. Since Tacoma has been in the US for 30 years next year, this version even has a special paint job for the occasion.
New leaked pictures (below) show other unique features, like a “TOYOTA” wordmark in the grille (probably for higher models like the TRD Pro) and an LED light bar inside the hood. We also see a bit more of Tacoma’s headlights and a full side shot that hints at sharp new styling.
The inside of Tacoma is about to get a big change. Spy shots show a completely new steering wheel, a new shifter that is closer to the driver, and a parking brake that is now electric. The dashboard also looks like it is all digital, with a bigger tablet and a new screen for the instruments.
Engine
There is a rumor that the current V6 will be replaced by two four-cylinder choices, just like the new Chevy Colorado. According to reports, the base engine will be a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder taken from the Highlander. This engine gives the three-row SUV 265 horsepower. In the Lexus RX Hybrid, the alternative engine will be a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder with an electric motor that can make up to 366 horsepower. The new Tacoma will be a mix, that’s true.
With a peek that showed the truck’s door, Toyota confirmed the reports about the hybrid. It has an I-Force Max badge like the one on the larger Tundra. This shows that Tacoma has a hybrid engine.
Toyota will build the Tacoma on the same TNGA-F platform as the Tundra. This will likely give Taco a bit of a growing bump. Even so, it is projected to be more than a foot shorter than the Tundra total. With the new base, the mid-size car will probably get rid of its leaf-spring suspension and get a more modern coil-spring setup instead.
Price and Release Date
For 2023, the Toyota Tacoma starts at $29,085 (including delivery), and we expect that price to go up a little bit for 2024. Rumors say there could be a new top-of-the-line model, but it’s likely that the SR will stay the base trim and the SR5, SR5, and TRD models will follow suit. Reports say that the “Trailhunter” version of the 2024 Tacoma could be the toughest.
The 2024 Toyota Tacoma is scheduled to be shown for the first time this year, with production starting later in 2023. Toyota hasn’t shared any official hints or information about the mid-size truck, but we hope to see the new Tacoma before the end of the year. 2024 Toyota Tundra Colors
