2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Colors: Exterior Colors & Interior Colors – In preparation for the 2019 model year, Toyota undertook a comprehensive makeover of the RAV4 series, including the hybrid model. For the model year 2024, the RAV4 Hybrid will finally be offered in a form that has a higher level of off-road capability. A Woodland Edition of the RAV4 is scheduled to be released in 2024, a few years after the revised RAV4 and RAV4 Hybrid were introduced in 2019. Even if you are unable to track down one of those limited-edition versions, the Toyota Audio Multimedia system will be improved in all 2024 RAV4s. The Honda CR-V Hybrid, the Ford Escape Hybrid, the Kia Sportage Hybrid, and the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid are some of the vehicles with which the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid competes.
Review
The RAV4 Hybrid has a streamlined powertrain that enhances acceleration and fuel efficiency in comparison to its stablemates, making it stand out from the gasoline-only variant in a way that is head and shoulders above it. We commended the 2020 RAV4 Hybrid XSE for having a power delivery that was both smooth and quick in our First Test of the Vehicle. Nevertheless, we were also able to confirm that it has the same choppy ride quality as the RAV4 variants that only use gasoline.
The design of the 2023 RAV4 Hybrid is another one of its many strengths. Its rough and angular look is reminiscent of its older brother or sister, the 4Runner. Although the cabin does not have the luxurious atmosphere of a Lexus, it does feature a pleasant combination of high-quality materials with a textured surface that is pleasant to the touch and a design that serves a purpose. In addition, we discovered that the door apertures in the back of the vehicle were a little bit too small for simple access while loading persons or baggage. Some sport utility vehicles (SUVs) have rear doors that can be opened to an angle of almost 90 degrees, making it simpler to load passengers or child safety seats.
The infotainment suite of the RAV4 Hybrid has been given significant upgrades for the 2024 model year, and its list of standard safety features has been expanded. These changes make a desirable small SUV that much more appealing to consumers who are considering it in comparison to the other vehicles in its segment. The RAV4 Hybrid is an enticing option despite the fact that its trim structure is narrower than that of the gasoline-only version of the vehicle. If there is room in the budget for the additional expense, we would suggest purchasing this model rather than the less quiet non-hybrid option.
Before the 2024 model year, Toyota did not offer trail-ready versions of the RAV4 in any other fuel configuration besides the gasoline-only one. This situation has been rectified with the release of the RAV4 Hybrid Woodland Edition, which brings a variety of aesthetic and performance enhancements to the electric crossover vehicle. The Woodland Edition comes standard with a TRD-tuned suspension, bronze-colored alloys, black exterior badging, and mudguards, black dual-exhaust tips, and exclusive floor and cargo mats designed just for the model. Midnight Black Metallic, Cavalry Blue, and Ice Cap are the three exterior paint options that are available for the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Woodland Edition.
The RAV4 Hybrid, which was introduced for the 2024 model year, now comes standard with an infotainment display measuring 8.0 inches and running the newest version of Toyota Audio Multimedia. Touchscreens measuring 10.5 inches are standard on higher trim levels. Over-the-air update capability, voice controls for the infotainment system, cloud-based navigation with Google’s Points-of-Interest data, dual mobile phone Bluetooth Connectivity, standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, an available 4G WiFi hotspot for up to five devices, Toyota’s Integrated Streaming feature for Apple Music and Amazon Music are some of the new features that have been added to the vehicle. A display for the instrument cluster measuring 7.0 inches is standard, but higher trim levels come with displays of 12.3 inches.
Engine
The RAV4 Hybrid is priced and performs somewhere in between the conventional RAV4 and the plug-in RAV4 Prime. It has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, two electric motors, and a continuously variable transmission (CVT). 219 horsepower comes standard, and all-wheel drive is available as an option. We were able to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in only 7.1 seconds during our testing, which is a significant increase over the gasoline RAV4 model’s 8.0-second run. The EPA gave the 2023 model a rating of 41/38 mpg in the city and on the highway, which is a gain above the 25-27/33-34 mpg that the regular AWD RAV4 gets.
Interior
Both the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) have given the mechanically identical 2023 model its maximum attainable rating of five stars for the overall rating. The Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 system will become standard in 2024. This suite of active driver assistance technology includes features such as pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control with steering assist, lane departure alert, automatic high beams, road sign assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and front and rear parking assist with automatic braking. A blind-spot monitoring system, a rear cross-traffic warning with automated braking, and a camera system that captures 360 degrees are all available from Toyota.
Although the RAV4 Hybrid has less passenger room than its rivals, most people won’t experience a feeling of being squished in either the front or the rear seats. The cargo area of the RAV4 Hybrid is adequate, which positions the vehicle about in the center of the class. 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Colors
